The Woodturner’s Wares creates handmade wood turned bowls, cheese trays, bottle stoppers, yarn & crochet bowls and nutcracker bowls using native Canadian trees that can no longer perform their essential purpose in life.
With some hard work, a keen eye, and imagination, these trees are brought back to life as incredibly useful, fun, and stylish one-of-a-kind items. This process allows each piece of wood to share its own life story. Defects and irregularities in the wood are enhanced to create stunning results. Each wood turned item is completed with a food-grade, highly durable gloss finish.
